SIX IMPORTANT QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF!

Six important questions to ask yourself if you want to get ahead in life! The first question is "Where Are You Now?" If you do not know where you are now, you will not know what to do because it is critical to know your position and situation before taking action!

I am sure you have experienced this many times, when you ask for direction from a friend over your phone, he will ask you "where are you now?" before he can give you direction to get to the place you want to go!

This question is basically to help you know yourself better. Socrates, the famous Greek philosopher and teacher always ask his students to "Know Thyself". There are eight areas in your life that you can check from 1 to 10. 1 being the worst state and 10 being the best state.

Do you know how much time, money and effort you've invested in your health? Do you know how much time, money and effort you have invested in your family? Do you know how much time, money and effort you have invested in your finance? Do you know how much time, effort and money you've invested in personal development?

How about moral obligation, social contribution, achieving your dreams and spiritual achievements? Do you know what state or condition you are in right now?

The next important question is "Where Do You Want To Go?" Because if you do not know where you want to go it doesn't matter which road you take! Clarity leads to power. Paul Meyer, the father of goals setting said it so well: "The reason you are not where you want to be today it is because your goals are not clearly defined."

Your mind is a goal seeking device and it needs a clear goal for it to work effectively.

The third question is "Why Do You Want To Get There?" What is the purpose, objective or burning desire to get there? This will be the driving force, it is not the how? It is the why?

Have you experienced success in the past? If you think over it, it was the why, the purpose or the burning desire that help you achieve it!

The fourth question is "How Are You going To Get There?" Do you know the way or do you know someone who can show you the way to get there? To be successful learn from those who are successful, who have been there and done that. You will move much faster when you have a mentor or coach to guide you and avoid the costly mistakes and painful experiences!

The fifth question is "How Are You Going To Spend The Rest Of Your Life?" Do you have a plan of action to live your dreams and retire comfortably doing what you love to do?

The sixth question is "What Legacy Do You Want To Leave Behind"

When the time comes for you to leave this world what do you want to be remembered for by your loved ones, relatives and friends, and how the things you've done will make a positive difference to people's lives?

Remember these six questions and you will be glad you did, because they can make a world of difference to the quality of your life!
